Flandria is a quality label for fruits and vegetables. It is used by the six most important fruit-and-vegetable auctions grouped under LAVA. Since its inception in 1995, the Flandria label has given added value to fresh products and produce. This market prospect for the main Flandria products at the LAVA auctions is applicable for July and the first week of August and was drawn up on Friday 21 May. The current auction prices are compared with the prices in the same period last year. These are not price forecasts.
July sees big deliveries of tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes and aubergines. They are a must for BBQ promotions in weeks 27 to 29 inclusive.
